About MBS in Mayfield

MBS started life in 2015 as a purely mobile Mercedes servicing and repair service, set up by Paul Emmett, serving Mercedes-owning customers all over East Sussex.

Such was the demand for these services, Paul opened a workshop garage in Mayfield in 2019 which has seen the business go from strength to strength.

Alongside Paul, we now have two additional Mercedes Benz-trained technicians; we have one in his twenties, one in his thirties, and one in his sixties, so between us there isn’t a Mercedes model on the road which we haven’t seen and worked on. Our reputation and expertise are renowned in the local area and further afield. Many customers travel significant distances to have their Mercedes worked on by our team, and often enjoy our beautiful village setting while they wait to collect their car or van.

Because we only work on Mercedes models (including hybrids and electric) we are able to invest heavily in Mercedes-specific tools, software, and diagnostics equipment. We use MB Star diagnostics – the very same diagnostic equipment used by Mercedes Benz dealerships – and we are authorised to update online service records too. If your Mercedes is still within its warranty period, choosing MBS to service will not negatively affect your warranty – it will remain intact.

We use only genuine Mercedes parts and all our work – parts and labour – is guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months or 12,000 miles (whichever comes first) although most Mercedes parts come with a 2-year warranty. Our customer service is exceptional and our commitment to the highest standards of workmanship would be hard to find elsewhere. Every customer is valued and appreciated, whether we’re just fitting a new headlamp bulb or carrying out a head gasket repair.
